2.1    Primarily, we process personal data obtained within the scope of our business relationship with our customers and other business partners from these individuals and other persons involved. This also includes data collected from users when operating our websites, apps, and other applications.

2.2    Personal data, as defined in these privacy regulations, encompasses all information relating to a specific or identifiable natural person (hereinafter referred to as the “data subject”). This includes, in particular, your contact details (e.g., name, address, email, telephone number), identification data, and financial data.

2.3    Information about your use of our website is also considered personal data. In this context, we collect personal data from you as follows: information about your visits to our website (e.g., IP address, browser information, visited pages, and other connection data). This is primarily done through the use of the open-source web analytics platform Matomo, which we operate ourselves. All collected data remains on our own servers and is not shared with external parties.

We primarily use the personal data we collect to conclude and fulfill contracts with our customers and business partners. Among other things, we process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Offering and improving our products, services, and websites, apps, and other platforms where we are present.
  • Customer support and communication.
  • Payment processing.
  • Fulfillment of our legal obligations.
  • Advertising and marketing, unless you have objected to the use of your data.
  • Protection against fraud and misuse.

Cookies contribute to making your visit to our website simpler, more enjoyable, and more meaningful in many aspects. Cookies are information files that can identify your browser or device. We use cookies, for example, to recognize repeat visitors without knowing who you are. Cookies may also be used to identify you as a registered user after registering on the website, allowing you to be recognized as a registered user without having to log in again when visiting another subpage.

By using our website/apps, you agree to the use of these technologies. If you do not wish to do so, you must adjust your browser settings accordingly.

We process and store your personal data for as long as it is necessary to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations or to pursue the purposes mentioned above. This includes the entire duration of the business relationship (from initiation, execution to termination of a contract) and beyond, in accordance with legal retention and documentation obligations. It is possible that personal data will be retained for the period during which claims can be asserted against our company and as long as we are otherwise legally obligated or have legitimate business interests (e.g., for evidence and documentation purposes). Once your personal data is no longer required for the purposes mentioned above, it will generally be deleted or anonymized, to the extent possible.

In processing data, we consider the principles of lawfulness, proportionality, purpose limitation, transparency – particularly the fulfillment of information obligations – and data security.

In the course of our business activities and for the purposes outlined in section 3, we engage various services from third parties, especially IT services, payment services, shipping and logistics services, and services from banks, post offices, consultants, etc. These service providers may process personal data to the extent necessary. We only collaborate with service providers who commit to complying with data protection regulations according to the Swiss Data Protection Act (DSG). We source our IT and banking services from Swiss providers, and we do not transfer your data abroad.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of your personal data. However, we would like to point out that data transmission over the Internet (e.g., when communicating via email) may have security vulnerabilities. Complete protection of data from access by third parties is not possible.

9.1    Within the scope of the applicable data protection laws, you have the right to information, correction, and deletion of your personal data, as well as the right to restrict and object to our data processing. Please note that we reserve the right to assert the legally prescribed restrictions, for example, if we are obliged to retain or process certain data, have a predominant interest in doing so (to the extent we are entitled to rely on it), or need it to assert claims.

9.2    Please be aware that exercising these rights may conflict with contractual agreements and may have consequences such as premature contract termination or cost implications. In such cases, we will inform you in advance, where this is not already contractually regulated.

9.3    To exercise your rights, you can contact us at the provided address/contact details. Additionally, every affected person has the right to enforce their claims in court or to file a complaint with the relevant data protection authority (Federal Data Protection and Public Access Officer).

We reserve the right to update this privacy policy to adapt it to changes in our data protection practices or legal requirements. Please regularly check this privacy policy for updates.
